SEPTEMBER 2023 LEVEL 1 WEEKEND OF RECOVERY WILL BE OUR FAREWELL VISIT TO ALTA, UT
Registration is now open for our 2023 Level 1 Weekend of Recovery at Alta, UT. We invite survivors who have never experienced a WOR at this spectacular venue to consider joining us for our farewell visit to the Alta Lodge. Scheduling and logistical changes at the Lodge necessitate that this year’s event will be our final WOR to be conducted at this location.

Our next Level 1 WOR has already been scheduled at Hope Springs, OH during October 2024. This will ensure uninterrupted access for these inspiring gatherings that allow male survivors to end isolation, make connections, and create community.
I feel more connection with others. …The lack of isolation and
connection makes the burden less and less . . .

CELEBRATE OUR 100th WEEKEND OF RECOVERY WITH A FINANCIAL GIFT OF SUPPORT
We invite YOU to join our campaign to add 100 new recurring donors – at any amount of monthly or quarterly donation – to honor the 100th Weekend of Recovery event. Help us grow our loyal community of recurring supporters who provide 85% of the financial lifeblood for MenHealing. To join…

The Pay What You Can Afford WOR fee structure is one example of how MenHealing applies donor contributions to increase accessibility for healing resources.

INVITATION TO SURVIVORS - RESEARCH PARTICIPANTS NEEDED!
Dr. Scott Easton is a licensed master’s level social work (LMSW) and an Associate Professor at the Boston College School of Social Work. He is conducting a study on the health and well-being of male survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
Participants will be asked to complete a one-time, anonymous online survey. There is no compensation for taking part in the study. However, participants are eligible for a raffle of a $100 electronic gift card.
If you are interested, please visit the study home page at bit.ly/ignitestudy
OR contact Dr. Easton by email at menshealthsurveybc@gmail.com
YOU CAN SUPPORT OUR CONTINUED WORK BY MAKING A DONATION TO MENHEALING
FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS FROM INDIVIDUAL DONORS LIKE YOU ARE THE LIFEBLOOD THAT ALLOWS MENHEALING TO CONTINUE OUR WORK. 85% OF OUR BUDGET IS RECEIVED FROM INDIVIDUAL DONORS; 15% OF OUR BUDGET IS RECEIVED FROM EVENT REGISTRATIONS. WE DO NOT RECEIVE FUNDING FROM FOUNDATIONS OR GOVERNMENT GRANTS.
MenHealing is committed to fostering collaboration and community as we build a MOVEMENT OF MALE SURVIVORS AND ALLIES. TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER!
We especially want to thank the growing community of regular sustaining donors.
Consider whether YOU can join as a recurring donor at any amount.

Consider ways you can support MenHealing during 2023
- Ask others to contribute a donation in your honor for your Birthday, Anniversary, or any other special event…
- Request to add MenHealing as an option if your employer provides matching charitable gifts…
- Review your Estate Planning and add MenHealing for a Legacy Gift …
Your donation can be designated for any specific project area, to support survivor who experience financial hardship to attend a WOR event, or to support general program needs.
Make 2023 the year you SHOW UP FOR SURVIVORS with a financial contribution of any amount.

Remember, YOU can forward this newsletter to anyone or any organization that you think might be interested. Thanks for spreading the word!
