To MenHealing Weekends of Recovery Alumni, Friends, and Supporters

ATTENTION ALL ANIMAL LOVERS!

MenHealing is embarking on a special service trip to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, and we want to bring you along with us! 

From April 21-23, we'll be sharing exclusive photos and videos on our Instagram account, giving you an inside look at the incredible work Best Friends Animal Society does for animals in need. You'll also see the impact this experience has in the lives of our MenHealing alumni, staff, and volunteers. 

By following our Instagram account during the trip, you'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with us as we work to help these animals. Whether you're a long-time supporter or just discovering our organization, this is a chance to see one of the many ways that MenHealing gives back.

So, grab your phone and join us on Instagram as we embark on this special service trip to Best Friends Animal Society. We can't wait to share this journey with you and show you the amazing impact we can make together for our furry friends!

ABOUT BEST FRIENDS

Best Friends, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, operates the nation’s largest sanctuary for homeless animals. On any given day, the Sanctuary is a healing home for up to 1,600 dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, horses, pigs and other animals. Best Friends has become the heart of a collaborative no-kill movement, and a model for the future of animal welfare. This collaborative service project is an example of MenHealing’s commitment to foster healing resources that contribute to movement building to end mistreatment for all living beings.

REGISTRATION OPEN FOR 2023 ADVANCED WEEKEND OF RECOVERY

The 2023 Advanced Weekend of Recovery - open to all WOR Alumni - will focus on EMBODYING LOVE AND POWER IN RELATIONSHIPS. This dynamic weekend will focus on providing participants with the skills to balance and integrate being both loving and powerful in relationships. Read more…

If you have a partner, they are also welcome and encouraged – but not required – to join you.

You are encouraged to register early as registration is limited and our Advanced Weekends frequently fill quickly. Registration will remain open until July 21^st, 2023.

The Pay What You Can Afford payment structure will continue for all 2023 WORs; thereby allowing our healing resources to be more accessible for survivors who experience financial barriers and difficulties

SURVIVOR ART EXHIBIT REMAINS OPEN

If you have not yet visited the on-line Survivor Art Exhibit, do so now. Curated for Sexual Assault Awareness Month as a partnership between Our Wave, MenHealing, MaleSurvivor, I Am Man, and SAMSN, this exhibit aims to lift up the individual healing journeys of men and male-identifying survivors through creative expression.
