“BONDED” BENEFIT STAGE-READING EVENT A SUCCESS
We were honored that MenHealing, with financial support from the Ruby Struve Fund, was able to collaborate with Tyler Martin (Playwright) for the October 15th Benefit Stage-Reading for the launch of his original script for “BONDED.” In-person and livestream audiences were emotionally impacted and energized by the incredible performance of Tyler and the acclaimed Bellamy Young and Brian Abraham, plus the amazing directing talent of Thomas Caruso.
“BONDED” was part of our 100K in 100 Days end of 2022 Fundraising Campaign. Thanks to everyone who donated a total of $10,500 during the in-person event as well as livestream attendees. We welcome any additional follow-up donations to help us reach our goal of raising $20,000 for this event.

MALE SURVIVOR AWARENESS DAY
Speak Your Truth Today (SYTT) has been instrumental in creating a collaboration for a Male Survivor Awareness Day (10/25) during 2022 October Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This collaboration brings together Speak Your Truth, MenHealing, MaleSurvivor, & FORGE. The awareness day will feature a unique webpage - MenToo.
Each Sunday in October, SYTT will be busting truths and shedding light to the realities of male survivors. The partner organizations will be featured in a “Share Your Truth” LIVE podcast from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. PT on October 20th. SYTT will spotlight male survivors and their stories throughout the day on October 25th.
The overall purpose of these events is to expand public awareness that domestic violence impacts individuals throughout the full spectrum of gender identities, including men and transgender people. For more information…
