LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER

…for 2022 Sexual Assault Awareness Month events…

On April 10th, YOU will be truly inspired by this 90-minute TRANS AND NONBINARY SURVIVORS SPEAK OUT LIVE EVENT (a collaboration between MenHealing and FORGE).  Free registration is open until time of the event (7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT / 5 pm. MT / 4 p.m. PT).

On April 13th, MenHealing and the Center for Hope and Healing are collaborating for the ROAD TO HEALING: STORIES OF MALE SUVRIVORSHIP. This Live Event will include the “Beyond Survival: Voices of Healing” video that features Richard Smith, MenHealing Anti-Racism Educator plus a panel with several WOR Alumni. This program will include discussion of the intersection of sexual violence and criminal legal systems. Free registration is now open.

ARTS & MIXED MEDIA WORKSHOP SERIES

Since announcing our new Art & Mixed Media Workshop series in December, the reception has been great. The workshops are facilitated by Margaret Hunter. Don’t miss this innovative opportunity for connection with other male survivor. You do not have to attend all of the series; each one is a stand alone, 4 week online workshop.

We are conducting the last one in this series in May and registration is now open (donation requested).   If May does not work for you, we will announce soon when another series opens.

REGISTRATION OPEN FOR WHIDBEY LEVEL 1 WEEKEND OF RECOVERY

REGISTRATION OPENS ON 4/12 FOR 2022 ADVANCED WEEKEND OF RECOVERY

The theme of this year’s Advanced WOR is “EXPLORING OUR CONNECTIONS WITH SELF AND OTHERS and will focus on providing participants with the skills to balance and integrate being both loving and powerful in relationships. If you have a partner, they are welcome and encouraged – but not required - to attend as well. If you are single, this weekend is designed to help you equally as well. Registration opens 4/12.

OUR NEW “PAY WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD” REGISTRATION PROCESS INCREASES ACCESSIBILITY FOR 2022 WORs

If you are unable to pay the actual cost for an event, we allow you to submit payment for an amount that better reflects your budget.  We do require a minimum payment of 10% of the actual cost.

We are committed to accessibility for all of our resources. As a grassroots organization, 85% of our financial support is received from individual donors and 15% from event registrations. We do not receive any funding from government or foundation grants. Our work is possible because of the generous donations from individuals like YOU.

We especially want to thank the growing community of regular sustaining donors. Consider becoming a monthly or quarterly recurring donor in honor of April Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Remember, YOU can forward this newsletter to anyone or any organization that you think might be interested. Thanks for spreading the word!

We welcome YOUR FEEDBACK and any ideas about our work via: contact@menhealing.org
