The goal of the groups is to enhance connection and decrease isolation amongst members of the WOR Alumni Community. Support Groups will be co-facilitated by Peer Mentors who are WOR Alumni themselves. Each Peer Leader has received 30 – 35 hours of training and has been facilitating groups for the Connect Study through Yale University during the last 2 years. They will continue to receive supervision throughout the course of meetings
The deadline to register is December 9th. The exact days and times of the groups will be announced after we receive all applications and get a sense of which days/times work best for the participants. A commitment for regular attendance will be requested of each participant.
Space is limited so you are encouraged to register early. A 30-minute interview will be conducted by a member of the Facilitator Team to explore your goals, needs, and your readiness for a support group.
We are asking for a $50 donation to participate in the entire series. However, we do not want cost to be a barrier for anyone to attend. We have a "pay what you can" policy.
Once you are accepted, we will ask you to make a donation in the amount you can afford.
